Happy Birthday Candra!
This gorgeous mama is celebrating her birthday today! I'm so honored that I got to take photos of her a few weeks ago to help her celebrate. She was totally giving me ALL the cute and sassy model vibes at our session.
She's not only a beautiful client of mine, but one of my great friends that I've continued to grow closer to this past year. She is such a strong and resilient woman and amazing mama. I thought it would be cool to do a little interview with her about this past year and share how awesome she is with everyone! So check out this mini interview and some of my favorite photos from her session (it's seriously so hard to pick favorites when she's so photogenic and STUNNING!)
What is something you've learned about yourself this year?
I've learned that I'm capable, strong, and resilient. It's one thing to have someone tell you these things, it's something completely different when you start to realize and believe these things yourself.
What was your favorite memory from this past year?
My favorite memory from the last year would definitely be seeing my two year old meet his baby brother for the first time. He wasn’t so sure about him at first. It’s been so fun and heart warming to watch him bond with his brother and the love that has developed between the two of them. It all started from that first meeting.
What are you looking forward to this year?
It’s interesting how we all mark time, and believe that with a significant event we can somehow end one chapter and start another. With this birthday, and the start of a new year of life, I am looking forward to growing as a person, and I’m looking forward to watching my children grow. So much changes in one years time, and I’m excited to see where I will be in one year from now, and how much I have grown.

I am a Golden Girls aficionado. There isn’t an episode I haven’t seen and I definitely know all the trivia!

I LOVE Monopoly. It’s my favorite board game, only I can’t ever find people to play with me because the game always runs long.
Fun Fact #3
I enjoy a good game of Backgammon. My mother taught me to play when I was eight. In the past twenty five years I can count on one hand how many times I’ve beaten her....I will always keep trying.
Could she be anymore gorgeous?! Seriously - my goodness. I had a hard time narrowing done photos for her gallery. I love this photo shoot so much. I've been all over the urban vibes lately - and that green garage with the golden light coming though plus this hot mama just made my photographer heart happy.
Anyway...
I'm so happy to have met Candra and I have enjoyed getting to know her over the past couple of years. Wishing her all of the happiness and joy on her special day and hope that she has an amazing year.
