Not going to lie - I always get super excited with a client fills out my session questionnaire and their response to preferred colors doesn't include the word pink when it is a baby girl. This sweet girl's mama requested "Sage, green, cream, neutrals". It's like she knew the way to my photographer heart! I love baby girls in sage, or honestly... anything but pink. And creams/neutrals are just forever a favorite in my Indianapolis based Newborn Photography studio! Don't get me wrong, pink can be great color for newborn sessions but it is often over done and all I get sometimes for baby girls. Love getting to change it up!
Sage / Greens
Here are some favorites using mostly sage green tones, but we also did a more rich green tone when looked lovely too!
Creams / Neutrals
This color palette is forever my favorite because it works so well for all newborn sessions, looks great in any homes when you print wall art, and just has a timeless feel to it.
Family Photos
Most clients end up booking my deluxe package for newborn sessions because it offers parent/sibling/family photos. These photos are typically some of the favorites because it really shows off how small baby once was and the love between everyone.
I mean, look at how cute these two are together! Big brother was certainly smitten with his little sister.
Designing Wall Art
After a session, I meet with my clients virtually to review the images. Clients can select their favorites, but we also discuss products at this time. You can even send me photos of your own space and I can show you a mock up of wall art on your own walls. This is a great tool so you can see exactly what size would look best for your wall. I truly love helping my clients pick out the perfect art for their homes.
